The Vancouver Canucks are one win away from advancing to the second round, and perfect human Jay Beagle is leading the way there.

Early in the first period of Friday’s Game Six between the Canucks and St Louis Blues, Beagle’s line conducted an aggressive forecheck in the offensive zone. Forcing the puck loose, Beagle released a quick wristshot to beat St Louis goalie Jordan Binnington.

    And there was much rejoicing.

That is Beagle’s first goal of the postseason. Beagle scored two goals during the Capitals’ 2018 Cup run.

If the Vancouver Canucks win tonight’s game, they will face the Vegas Golden Knights in the second round.

Sure, just for old time’s sake. Here’s Beagle.jpg.
