Nicklas Backstrom is back and will play in Game Five

Backy’s back, all right!

You guys, Nicklas Backstrom will play in Game Five. Backstrom has been out since the second period of Game One after taking a late, blindside hit from Anders Lee. Backstrom suffered a concussion on the play.

Backstrom can be seen wearing the A, as an alternate captain, in this video published by the Capitals showing the players taking the ice for warmups.

And he has a goatee!

Backstrom will center the third line and skate with Richard Panik and Ilya Kovalchuk.

The Swedish forward will replace Brian Pinho in the lineup.

Welcome back, Backy. Let’s do this, boys!
