Elvis Merzlikins jokingly congratulates Joonas Korpisalo with pallets of water after making playoff-record 85 saves in 5OT game

Blue Jackets goaltender Elvis Merzlikins is out indefinitely, but he’s still making contributions to the team in his own weird way.

For instance, on Wednesday morning, Merzlikins showed support to teammate Joonas Korpisalo with the following ridiculous tweet.

Korpi set a new NHL playoff record with 85 saves in the Blue Jackets’ five-overtime loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday.
