The Washington Capitals will play the Philadelphia Flyers at 4 PM on Thursday. The game will be aired on NBC Sports Washington. The Caps will be the away team.
The afternoon matchup will be the Capitals’ second of three games played in the Round Robin to determine their seeding in the opening round of the 2020 Playoffs.

Through one game played, the Capitals currently sit in the third seed after losing in the shootout to the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-2.
The game time for Caps-Bruins on Sunday has still not been determined.

ARLINGTON, Va. – The National Hockey League announced today that the Round Robin matchup between the Washington Capitals and the Philadelphia Flyers will begin at 4 p.m. on Thursday at Scotiabank Arena. The game will be televised on NBC Sports Washington and streamed live on the MyTeams app and NBCSportsWashington.com
Washington’s start time and TV assignment for the Round Robin matchup against the Boston Bruins on Sunday, August 9 will be announced at a later time.
NBCSW will present extended pregame and postgame shows surrounding the remaining Round Robin games. All live coverage will be available to stream on the MyTeams app and on NBCSportsWashington.com.
