You guys, there’s a snake on a plane!
Washington Capitals forward Jakub Vrana is on his way back to DC after spending the coronavirus pandemic in his native Czech Republic.
Vrana posted a photo from the airport as he was leaving this morning.

Jake The Snake will join a large group of players that are already back for workouts including Alex Ovechkin, Nicklas Backstrom, Braden Holtby, John Carlson, Dmitry Orlov, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Lars Eller, Garnet Hathaway, Martin Feheravary, Vitek Vanecek, Connor McMichael, and Alex Alexeyev. Training camps are scheduled to begin league-wide on July 10.
Update: Vrana was on the same flight with fellow countrymen Radko Gudas and Michal Kempny.
