The MLB and the MLB Players Association came to an agreement on a shortened season, Tuesday night. Commissioner Rob Manfred announced that players would report on July 1 and the 2020 regular season would begin approximately one month from today, on July 23rd or July 24th.
“Major League Baseball is thrilled to announce that the 2020 season is on the horizon,” Manfred said. “We have provided the Players Association with a schedule to play 60 games and are excited to provide our great fans with Baseball again soon.”
The Washington Nationals, the reigning World Series champions, tweeted out a challenge to the rest of the league shortly after the season was announced.

So did the Baltimore Orioles.
