To celebrate the two-year anniversary of the Capitals’ winning the Stanley Cup, I asked our followers on Twitter if they could share their first reaction as the buzzer hit zero at T-Mobile Arena. The thread turned out so amazing I had to post it.
Some of you were in Las Vegas for the actual game while others were inside and outside Capital One Arena watching the NBC telecast on video screens. There was so much happiness from jubilant screams to tears of joy.
In a world where things feel so anxious, your photos and videos from that night are a great reminder of how great life and hockey can be when we share it together.
Tears. And I’m a Hawks fan. pic.twitter.com/K8lmj7L7oD
