Jonas Siegenthaler appears to be ramping up his workouts for a potential return of the 2019-20 season.
The Capitals defenseman skated on synthetic ice late last week to work on hockey drills. These panels are made from polyethylene plastic.
With most ice rinks closed due to the pandemic, this is about as close as you can get to real ice.
In the social media posts, Siegenthaler is also shown doing bike work.
Last week, the Swiss defenseman also faced Jakub Vrana ina cook-off which aired on the Capitals’ social media accounts. John Walton and Capitals’ team chef Robbie Wood commentated.
