Captain ‘facetiming’ Alex Ovechkin is great quarantine content

A dog facetiming one of its hooman friends is fun enough. When that dog is Captain and the person is Alex Ovechkin, that’s when the magic happens.

Saturday, Captain’s Twitter account posted a video of the Caps’ pup contacting his “best bud.”

The video is clearly spliced with a recording from Alex Ovechkin’s NHL20 game with Wayne Gretzky but I’m going to suspend my belief and think it’s real anyway.

You guys, we are in the middle of a gosh darn pandemic and if I want to believe that the Capitals’ team dog has opposable thumbs and can initiate phone conversations with players, I’m gonna.
