Alex Ovechkin auctioning off one-timer lesson, tickets to Caps game, and signed game-used stick to raise money for coronavirus charities

Alex Ovechkin is joining other famous athletes and celebrities and going All-In to raise money for coronavirus charities.

Ovechkin is auctioning off an incredible two-day experience, which includes a 30-minute one-timer lesson from his office after practice, four-tickets to a Capitals game the next day, an autographed game-used stick, postgame locker room access, and a two-night hotel stay.

The proceeds will help provide food to those in need. Benefitting charities include Meals on Wheels, No Kid Hungry, America’s Food Fund, World Central Kitchen, and Feeding America.

“I want you and your friend to come to Washington DC to meet me at my office after practice,” a heavy breathing Ovechkin said after a workout at a local school. “I show you how to shoot one-timer.”

The winner of the auction will receive:

  • 100% of the money raised through this Game/Auction will go directly to Feeding America, Meals On Wheels, World Central Kitchen and No Kid Hungry.
  • 30-minute one-timer shot lesson with Alex Ovechkin after a Capitals practice
  • Four (4) round-trip coach airfare tickets included (domestic travel only)
  • Four (4) tickets to the game the following day
  • Ground transportation to and from the destination city airport included
  • Lesson will take place at the Washington Capitals practice facility
  • Mutually agreed upon date
  • Ovechkin will autograph and give you his game-used stick
  • Post-game locker room access
  • Two-night (2) hotel stay included
  • Delivery Timing: Prize delivery time will be mutually agreed upon and determined at a later date when it is safe to do so.
