Alex Ovechkin posted a video on his Instagram late Tuesday night. To Drake’s Nonstop, The Great 8 shaved his unkempt quarantine beard as his wife Nastya danced in the background.

“I accepted the baton from @m_galustyan 😀,” Ovechkin wrote. “I pass the baton to Ilya Kovalchuk, Evgeni Malkin, and DJ Smash next.”
Malkin responded to Ovechkin’s challenge joking, “I will do it in a year when I grow my beard.”
Meanwhile, Kovalchuk laughed and dropped a fire emoji.
The Russian machine was initially nominated by longtime friend and comedian Mikhail Galustyan.
The idea was started by Galustyan. “No advertisement, no politics! I am just starting a home challenge #changeathome handing off the baton,” he wrote.
