Michal Kempny is one of nine Capitals players who left North America to return to his home country during the coronavirus outbreak. Tuesday, the Capitals defenseman jumped on Instagram to tell Capitals fans he misses them.
“Breathe in & breathe out 🙏🏻,” Kempny wrote. “I can’t wait for the moment when I see you all at the game after this 🏒 #staysafe”

Kempny tagged his home country, the Czech Republic, in the photo.
Nicola, Michal’s girlfriend, posted several photos from their journeys outdoors including a shirtless Kempny taking a dip into a cold lake.
The couple also took a hike together.
In total, 14 Capitals players have remained in the DMV.
