Alex Ovechkin got in on the latest pregame warmup craze Thursday night in Winnipeg.
One Caps fan north of the border made a sign that read OVI, ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS FOR A STICK. It also included the numbers 24 and 8, a tribute to Kobe Bryant.
Ovechkin obliged.

Rock, Paper, Scissors. GO!
Ovechkin went rock and the tiny Caps fan went paper. Ovechkin didn’t hand over a stick but he did toss a puck.
Other players that have done rock, paper, scissors with fans include Charlie Coyle, Patrik Laine, and Kevin Fiala.
Also during warmups, Ovechkin saw two fans with giant Ovi heads.
