Here’s Sidney Crosby breaking his stick in half and throwing it at the bench

Sidney Crosby had another meltdown. This time during the third period of the Penguins’ 5-3 loss to the Capitals.

After getting beat in front of the net by TJ Oshie, Crosby returned to the bench where he broke his stick in half and chucked it against the boards.

You guys, a good craftsman never blames his tools.

Sidney failed in his first attempt to shatter his stick so he stood up and broke it with his shin pads. I admire his dedication to getting the job done here.

Crosby was furious after Oshie scored his 25th goal of the season. Crosby couldn’t clear the puck in front of the net and he watched helplessly as Oshie found the puck at his feet.

The goal stood up as the game-winner and gave the Capitals back the lead in the Metropolitan Division.

While destroying a perfectly good hockey stick is wasteful, I just want Sid to know that his frustration gives me strength. And I feel very strong right now.
