Ryan Miller traded a warmup puck for a box of Thin Mints

It’s Girl Scout Cookies Season and Ryan Miller is hungry.

With the trade deadline 11 days away, the Anaheim Ducks goaltender completed the second major NHL trade of the month, sending a Ducks’ warmup puck to a young girl for a cherished box of Thin Mints.

Miller was scanning the glass during warmups when he first saw the girl’s sign that read “Hey! Guy’s [sic] I’ll Trade You a box of Thin Mints for a Puck please. Let’s Go Ducks.”

Miller immediatedly skated over to complete the deal, catching the box of cookies thrown over the glass with his glove hand.

The tendy is getting rave reviews from analysts across the NHL, who are calling the trade a steal.

Noureen DeWulf, Miller’s wife, assumed her hubby brought the box home but alas he did not. He “left them in the freezer at the rink so he could enjoy them as his pre-game snack,” she said.

Full disclosure: I’m allergic to mint!
