The Caps have lost first place to the Boston Bruins

After getting mega-boomed to hell by the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night, the Washington Capitals have lost their claim on first place in the league to the Boston Bruins.

The new leaders have won six games in a row, though they have played one more game than the Caps. Washington and Boston will not meet again this season; the Caps won two of their three contests.

The Caps will play the eighth-ranked Islanders on Monday night.
