Alex Ovechkin is vacationing in Mexico’s Riviera Maya for the bye week with his wife Nastya, his son Sergei, and his extended family.

We can now add first-line forward Tom Wilson to that list.

Monday afternoon, Nastya Ovechkina posted video to her Instagram Story of Wilson and his girlfriend, Taylor Pischke, playing a game of volleyball against Ovechkin on the beach. Pischke is a professional volleyball player from Canada.

In the first video, Wilson can be seen setting the volleyball back to Pischke before he’s set up for a weak spike. After an incredible dig by Pischke, Team Ovechkin ultimately wins the point after a member of Team Wilson hits the ball out of play. In the second video, Pischke serves the ball to Ovechkin and in the Russian machine’s return, he nearly knocks the ball into the ocean.

The Riviera Maya is near Cancun and is located on a stretch of Caribbean coastline on Mexico’s northeastern Yucatán Peninsula.

Ovechkin is not staying in his usual vacation spot where he owns a home, Sunny Isles Beach in Miami. Instead, several of his teammates are staying in South Florida including Jakub Vrana, Ilya Samsonov, and Dmitry Orlov.
