Chandler Stephenson scores breakaway goal in overtime to beat Blues in dramatic comeback

Chandler Stephenson has had quite the nice landing with the Vegas Golden Knights. On Saturday night, Stephenson scored his eighth goal of the season, and it was a big one: an OTGWG with a ton of open ice to down the defending champion St Louis Blues.

The goal was unassisted. Stephenson skates the length of the ice, snatching the puck from along the boards before beating goalie Jake Allen with a backhand goal.

Stephenson’s game winner, his fifth with his new team, completed a massive comeback. Earlier in the game, the Knights were down 3-0. Vegas is now on a four-game winning streak and catching up on the conference leading Blues.

Good for Chandler!
