Radko Gudas trimmed his beard

One Capitals player has decided to be well-kempt for the New Year.

Radko Gudas showed up to the Washington Capitals first practice of 2020 without his customary furry beard. This Very Important news was first shared by Miranda Rosenfelt on Twitter.

It appears Gudas trimmed his beard during the final week of 2019. The Czech defenseman debuted his less-Gude facial hair during the Caps’ game against the Carolina Hurricanes on December 28.

After the game, the trimmed beard was even more evident when Gudas spoke to reporters postgame.
