Andre Burakovsky had a painful night at the office, Monday. The former Capitals forward took a high stick to the face during Nazem Kadri’s first-period goal.
The result was a bloodied face and a chipped tooth. His shampoo modeling days are clearly over.

Golden Knights defenseman Shea Theadore appeared to catch Burakovsky in the mouth in a battle for a loose puck along the boards. The play sprung Kadri who scored unassisted for his 12th goal of the year. The goal gave the Avs a 4-1 lead.
Injuring Burky? Naughty List.

Burakovsky immediately grabbed his mouth and bled all over the ice.

NO NO NO NO NO! NOT THIS BEAUTIFUL SWEDISH MAN’S FACE!!
Andre Burakovsky remains on the bench with blood coming out of his mouth.
He spit some out on the ice and it was a noticeable amount beneath the bench door.

But like a true hockey player, Burakovsky did not miss a shift.
Get well soon, Burkie’s face.
