Jay Beagle is one of the nicest people in hockey. Yet, somehow, the former Capital still manages to find ways to go the extra mile for the hockey community.
On Thursday, Beagle was documented by CTV News playing street hockey with a bunch of kids in downtown Vancouver. Beagle accepted an open invitation to the Canucks organization from the Union Gospel Mission to tour the facility and participate in a game.

In a video posted by the NHL by @jimfong604, Beagle is captured scoring a goal, eliciting screams from his tiny team. Beagle, of course, did not score a skill goal. He deflected the ball into the back of the net.
“It’s always a blast when I get to come to different organizations especially ones like Union Gospel Mission,” Beagle said to CTV News’s Carly Yoshida-Butryn. “It does so much good for the community.”
Indeed Jay. But so do you, pal. So do you.
