RMNB’s 10th anniversary as a website is on December 9, 2019. And to celebrate that milestone, we’re going to host a watch party at Walter’s Sports Bar from 6 – 10 PM. The Capitals play the Columbus Blue Jackets at Capital One Arena that night at 7 PM.
We don’t have all the details set in stone yet, but here the things we know and know we need help with.
- The first 88 people who arrive to the party will receive a special one-time-only present from us.
- I am confirmed to be there (hopefully early or on time) as well as Peter and Rachel.
- We would love all of our former writers to be in attendance if possible so we can say thank you and celebrate your work.
- There will be a special guest in attendance who you will 100 percent want to take a photo with. That’s all I’ll say.
- We really really want someone to make us a crazy, gigantic, amazing birthday cake for the occasion. Please reach out if you are willing to. We would be willing to post an article showing off the creation of the cake and promote you or your local business as a thank you.
- If you are a business or professional sports team who wants to help make this an even more special night for us, please reach out!
- If you would like to get the website a birthday present, your presence at the party, preferably in an RMNB t-shirt, would be enough. But we also accept donations on Paypal and have a Patreon that helps us pay our writers and keep our site going.

In short, thank you to everyone who has read, written, or shown passion to our site (good or bad). The last 9 years and 353 days have been a dream come true and we figured the best way to say thank you was to spend it with you all in person. We figured announcing this before Thanksgiving would show just how dang thankful we are.
