The Washington Nationals will be giving fans an opportunity to take photos with the Commissioner’s Trophy and view their World Series championship documentary on Monday, December 2, at 7 PM.
The event will be held at The Anthem. The maximum capacity inside the building is 6,000 people.
The Nationals’s championship movie is narrated by NBC Today’s Craig Melvin, an alumnus of NBC4 Washington and the husband of former NBC4 sports anchor Lindsay Czarniak. The blu-ray is currently 30 percent off on the Nationals’ Team Shop.
Special guests at the premiere include Ryan Zimmerman, general manager Mike Rizzo, members of the Lerner family, and Craig Melvin. According to the Nationals, more special guests are expected to be confirmed in the coming week.

On Monday, December 2nd, Major League Baseball and the Washington Nationals will host the premiere of “The 2019 World Series,” the Major League Baseball documentary produced by MLB Network that captures the spectacular and improbable journey of the 2019 Washington Nationals in winning their franchise’s first World Series championship.
The documentary premiere presented by Budweiser takes place at The Anthem in Washington D.C. at 7:00 pm ET. Notable Nationals personnel expected to attend and be part of the ceremony prior to the screening include first baseman and team’s first-ever draft pick Ryan Zimmerman, General Manager Mike Rizzo and members of the Lerner family. The film’s narrator, Craig Melvin, anchor of NBC’s TODAY, will also be at the premiere. More special guests are expected to be confirmed in the coming week.
Additionally, fans with tickets to the premiere will have the opportunity to take photos with the Nationals first Commissioner’s Trophy in a special area inside the venue and with Nationals mascots greeting fans as they enter.
