Tom Wilson and Ryan Reaves have an intense rivalry that spans years.
Saturday, ahead of the Capitals-Golden Knights game, the two players exchanged words at center ice during warmups.
I’d say this is more friendly than contentious.
Ahead of the Saturday’s game, Reaves said he is “more than willing to answer the bell” for his blindside hit and subsequent taunts of Tom Wilson from last December. Reaves’ dirty hit concussed Wilson. He was ejected for the play. Reaves’ later autographed photos of the hit with an inscription of He ran into a lion in the jungle.
