The Washington Nationals honored the Washington Capitals at Nationals Park after the Caps won their first Stanley Cup in June 2018.
Sunday, the Caps returned the favor, hosting a pregame ceremony for the World Series champion Washington Nationals.
It was an epic moment.
After PA announcer Wes Johnson announced the Nationals to the crowd, the World Series champions raised their arms into the air in victory.
Then the Capitals came over for a team photo. Everyone was wearing Capitals jerseys. The Caps were in red and the Nats were in white.
After the ceremony, the Capitals posted two brilliant photos from ice level.
