When the Capitals won it all in 2018, there were several Stanley Cup champion bobbleheads released that summer that were must-haves.

There were bobbleheads of TJ Oshie riding the Metro, Evgeny Kuznetsov doing the bird celebration, Braden Holtby making The Save, Lars Eller celebrating his Cup-winning goal during Game Five, and Devante Smith-Pelly holding up a championship belt. All of the bobbleheads are super creative (Kuzy’s arms bobble) and now all of them reside in my Capitals-themed basement.

Now there’s another championship bobblehead that you, me, and pretty much every other Caps fan in existence is going to want to own. It’s a bobblehead of Alex Ovechkin holding the Stanley Cup up with Nicklas Backstrom. Together.

The moment the bobblehead depicts is when Ovechkin first handed the Backstrom the Stanley Cup. Backstrom, Ovechkin’s longtime center and setup man, was the second Capitals player to hold up the championship trophy. The bobblehead perfectly captures the players’ euphoric faces and nails details like Ovechkin’s missing tooth and his yellow skate laces.
