The Washington Capitals aired a tribute video for Andre Burakovsky during the first period of the Caps-Avs game. Burakovsky was playing at Capital One Arena for the first time since being traded over the summer to the Colorado Avalanche game.

The video spans Burakovsky’s entire time in Washington from drafted to raising the Stanley Cup. There are clips of Burakovsky being silly such as flicking Tom Wilson’s ear during an interview, dancing with TJ Oshie on the bench, and wearing a motorcycle helmet in the locker room.
After the Capitals aired the video, Burakovsky raised to his feet on the Avalanche’s bench and waved to the crowd.

It probably didn’t hurt that the Avs had a 4-0 lead at that point too.
