The Avalanche and the Capitals met in Capital One Arena on Monday, and so did former roommates Tom Wilson and Andre Burakovsky.
The two wingers were toe-to-toe during the opening puck drop, and neither could keep a straight face.

Burakovsky added a hook as well as some smiles.

The two were both drafted by the Capitals’ franchise and met during training camp. Along with Michael Latta the three were roommates, brobeans, and social media sweethearts

The Avalanche arrived in DC on Sunday. Burakovsky had dinner with Nicklas Backstrom and John Carlson, but Tom Wilson dropped in to say hello.
