Jakub Vrana starts season with goals in consecutive games after scoring with this wicked wrist shot

Starting off his fourth NHL season hot, Jakub Vrana has scored in back-to-back games.

Beating new Isles goalie Semyon Varlamov in the first period of Friday’s game, Vrana put a speedy wrist shot on net.

Set free by temporary second-line center Lars Eller, Vrana stayed outside the slot until he got to the faceoff circles. There he wristed to beat the ex-Caps goalie, who didn’t look very sharp on the play.

Vrana scored 24 goals last season. Through four periods of 2019-20, he’s at two and counting. Watch out.
