The NHL announced on Tuesday the best selling jerseys of the 2018-19 season.
After winning their first Stanley Cup in June 2018, the Washington Capitals had one representative on the 15-man list – Alex Ovechkin, who finished second.
But you’re probably not going to love who finished first.

Pittsburgh Penguins’ Sidney Crosby sold the most jerseys in the NHL last season after scoring 35 goals and tallying 100 points. Following Ovechkin, Auston Matthews, Marc-Andre Fleury, and Patrice Bergeron rounded out the top five.
Through February 2019, Ovi led the league in jersey sales but fell off during the final few months of the season.
