“Celebrating 4 years of marriage with this guy,” Jenner wrote. “I wouldn’t be half the person I am today without you ❤️” The two spent their anniversary at a Minnesota Twins baseball game eating hot dogs. In her Instagram story, she shared that they have been together for 16 years.
Nick and Jenner married four years ago, with teammate Nic Dowd by their side as a groomsman. Nick served as Dowd’s groomsman when he was married in 2017. Dowd and Jensen played together in college at St. Cloud State University, lived across the hall from each other freshman year, were housemates for the next two years, and combined to score the Caps’ playoff-clinching goal in 2019.
Jenner also recently posted on her Instagram that she finished the two-year program to become a Physicians Assistant with great assist to her husband for reminding her that her dreams are important, too.
“There have been so many tears, sleepless nights, and missed moments with Nick,” Jenner wrote on August 16. “But as I sit here today finished with the program, I am so thankful I battled through. It wouldn’t have been possible without my husband reminding me every single day that both of our dreams are so so important and that anything is possible with sacrifice and commitment. WE DID IT!!!!”
The Jensens have been between DC and Minnesota this offseason, spending time with fans at a Capitals blood drive and settling into their new home.
Jensen signed a four-year, $10 million contract extension with the Caps immediately after being traded from the Detroit Red Wings.
