We just thought you should know a former Capitals reunion currently taking place likely somewhere in Europe.
Jakub Vrana and former Capitals forward Andre Burakovsky both took to their Instagram Story to share that they’re hanging out together. They did so by posting slightly different selfies of themselves.
“Back with my brother!!” wrote Burakovsky.
Earlier this summer, the Capitals sent Burakovsky to the Colorado Avalanche, fulfilling the Swede’s trade demand.
“Will gonna miss you broshan,” Vrana wrote on Instagram then. “Good luck in furure [so sic]”
During their time in Washington, the two young players fought for top-six wing positions, but maintained a close friendship.
The two got tattoos together after the Capitals won it all. Vrana even shared his Stanley Cup day with Burakovsky.

Burakovsky is scheduled to see another one of his former teammates next week. He’s taking part in Lars Eller’s “Hockey Stars” charity hockey tournament in Denmark on August 9.
