Injured Michal Kempny is ‘getting stronger every day’

Michal Kempny likes his time on the water and the Capitals defenseman made the thighlights reel again while vacationing in Palmižana, Croatia.

Kempny was snapped in his swimsuit while on a boat in the Adriatic Sea.

If it wasn’t evident enough in the photo, Kempny said it outright in the caption, “Getting stronger every day 🙌🏻”

I’m not sure it’s possible anyone could disagree here.

Kempny’s girlfriend Nicola posted this photo to her Instagram. She was also proud of her stomach’s fortitude on the boat.

Kempny is currently three months removed from tearing his left hamstring. The Czech defenseman originally injured himself during the Caps’ overtime loss against the Tampa Bay Lightning on March 20. Kempny had surgery on April 2 and his rehab was set at four to six months.

Beyond relaxing time spent on the water, Kempny has turned to cryotherapy for his rehab.

If all goes well, Kempny should be ready for the start of the regular season.
