Dallas Stars wish fans Happy Fourth of July with brilliant video inspired by Stranger Things

The third season of Stranger Things went live on Netflix at midnight of Independence Day.

To celebrate, the Dallas Stars created a video inspired by the wildly popular show.

It’s amazing. It’s all the good adjectives.

Video

The video starts with the show’s opening theme song. As each player of the team is introduced, the green letters come together to say DALLAS STARS.

Chapter One is entitled The Green Alien.

A scientist, scared out of his life, runs out of his office and into an elevator.

Then – out of the shadows – the monster APPEARS!

Oh… hey! It’s Victor E. Green, the Dallas Stars’ mascot. He is a furry green alien with hockey sticks for antennas who comes from a galaxy far, far away. He’s nice, just very exuberant with his dancing.

Then another monster inside of the elevator takes the scientist.

And scene.

The Stars’ won the NHL Fan Choice Award weeks earlier for Best Team Video with how they announced the Tyler Seguin extension earlier in the year.
