Two Capitals games for the 2019 preseason inadvertently announced through Carolina Hurricanes

Hey, you. Already missing hockey? Well, I have some good news. The Carolina Hurricanes just released their entire preseason schedule and the first two Capitals games of next season are now known.

Here are the dates.

The Capitals will play the Hurricanes twice in September. Washington will host Carolina at Capital One Arena on Saturday, September 21 at 7 pm. The next week they’ll play the Canes at PNC Arena on Sunday, September 29 for a 1:30 pm start.

More preseason games should be announced in the coming days.

The full regular-season schedules for the 2019-20 season will be announced by the NHL on June 25. Each team’s home opener will be released on June 21.

Is it October September yet?
