Andre Burakovsky’s going to hurt himself on this scooter, isn’t he?

Andre Burakovsky continues to rack up endorsement deals like he racks up chirps from his Capitals teammates.

Friday, Burakovsky acquired an electric scooter via the Swedish company Wattaride. The hockey player/former teen shampoo model/social media influencer published a photo of himself atop his new death machine motorbike with the caption “Love my new summer ride! Thank you @wattaridesweden for the set up. 😎”

It didn’t take long for Andre’s teammates to chime in.

First came laughter from Devante Smith-Pelly. Burakovsky responded, of course, with more laughter because this is how normal people have conversations online.

Next, Tom Wilson accurately noticed that Burakovsky’s name was emblazoned on the front.

He did not think this was a good decision.

This continues Burakovsky’s endorsement deals where he drives around Sweden with modes of transportation sporting his name. During his last two Swedish summers, Andre Burakovsky promoted Audi Malmo by driving around cars that have Andre Burakovsky written on the side.

It’s so subtle. No ego here.

Finally, Carl Hagelin jumped in Burra’s menchies, but to get a scooter for himself.

This man has his priorities in order.

The scooter’s maximum speed appears to be 20km/hr (about 12.5 mph), but I have no doubt that Young Dre will find some way for this to end both awfully and endearingly. Plus, some Wattaride models–like the “Papa”–can go twice as fast. While that may still be school zone speed, that’s still not much comfort when it comes to Burky.

Be careful out there, bud. Please put on a helmet.
