For now on, you can just call him Uncle Andre.
Andre Burakovsky found out two months ago that he would have a new brother after Seb Mollden, Andre’s barber and a former Swedish hockey player, proposed to his girlfriend Alexandra Burakovsky, Andre’s sister, at Miami Beach. The proposal happened during the Capitals’ bye week while the three were vacationing together.
Sunday came news of another sort. Andre is going to become an uncle. His sister announced she is pregnant.
Alexandra held up photos from the sonogram while showing off her baby bump.
Mollden wrote on Instagram sweetly, “Finally we become 3 ❤️”
Becoming an official uncle should not be a difficult transition for Andre as he already serves as an unofficial uncle for almost all of his teammates’ children.
