The NHL’s annual Stadium Series game is set to take place this weekend at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field and the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers will be modeling some fancy new gear.
The two teams will be wearing newly designed jerseys for the event. They’ll also be rocking specially-painted helmets featuring zoomed in versions of the teams’ primary logos.
This marks Adidas’s first foray into helmets since taking over as the NHL’s apparel supplier.

Both helmets utilize a black base and feature the jersey logo blown up to be an abstract focus. The design is radical for hockey helmets, which are historically simple in design and one color.

The jerseys for the game are more simple. Philadelphia will be wearing a solid orange jersey featuring a single stripe on the bodice and sleeves with an all-black logo.
