On Monday, Washington Capitals players Alex Ovechkin, Lars Eller, and Tom Wilson are all participating in a Stanley Cup chalk talk at MGM National Harbor.
Devante Smith-Pelly, author of the Capitals Game Five game-tying goal, was scheduled to attend and mingle with VIP guests beforehand. Due to being sent down to Hershey, Smith-Pelly will no longer be attending, but a new player will be replacing him.
“Due to the latest developments surrounding Devante Smith-Pelly, he will no longer be in attendance for the cocktail hour,” a Fanatics representative said in an email. “Instead Jakub Vrana will be there to mingle and take photos
