Here it is.
Anderson had the puck near the boards as Wilson lined up.
Anderson’s head was up as Wilson lined up a monster hit into his chest.
Anderson fell to the ice and stayed there until the whistle. He eventually was able to leave the ice under his own power. We will update this story as we learn more about his status.
There was no penalty on the play.
In April 2018, Wilson and Anderson were frequent foes in the Columbus-Washington first round series. Both players narrowly avoided suspension after game one. Months earlier, the two big rigs fought in a regular-season bout.
One year earlier, Anderson jumped Alex Ovechkin in a line brawl.
