Alex Ovechkin did a boom on Tomas Nosek. Nosek, sadly, is dead now. Ovi killed him. You need to see it.
It’s a clean, open-ice hit without a charge. But Ovi is made out of clay and concrete and keeps most of his mass in the general region of his ample bottom. So it was quite a bit of force that knocked into Nosek.
We haven’t seen this kind of hit out of Ovi for quite a while. Feels good. For us.
Probably not for Nosek, who, by the way, RIP.
