Tom Wilson will play against Wild, reunited with Alex Ovechkin and Evgeny Kuznetsov on first line

Tom Wilson will play tonight against the Minnesota Wild.

During the Capitals’ morning skate at Xcel Energy Center, head coach Todd Reirden reunited Tom Wilson on the first line with Evgeny Kuznetsov and Alex Ovechkin.

Per the Washington Post’s Isabelle Khurshudyan, the Capitals lines are as followed.

After reuniting with Ovechkin on Sunday, Nicklas Backstrom and TJ Oshie are back on the second line and will play with Jakub Vrana on the left side.

Wilson’s return to the lineup comes after NHL arbitrator Shyam Diaz reduced the Capitals forward’s suspension by six games Tuesday morning.

Wilson served 16 games of his original 20-game suspension before Diaz released his ruling.
