The Capitals have one message heading into their home opener: ‘Let’s do it again’

On the first day of training camp, Alex Ovechkin stated his goal for this year’s team: “Not suck back-to-back.” The Capitals, on the eve of their home opener and banner-raising ceremony, revealed a similar message: “Let’s do it again.”

The team posted the aspirational words with a montage video focusing on last year’s playoff run. The highlights contrast with the serious faces of its star players, hoping for another magical run.
