The good folks at NBC4 Sports decided to challenge the Stanley Cup champions to a diaper changing challenge.
They gave a few of the Capitals players a doll and a clean disposable diaper and then filmed the resulting shenanigans.
If dropping the doll several feet to the ground results in a failing grade, I’m sorry to say Alex Ovechkin totally failed.
CAPITALS DIAPER CHALLENGE: 24 hours until the #Capitals defend their #StanleyCup championship but not before the guys showed us their diaper changing skills! Can you guess who is not a father in the group? @nbcwashington pic.twitter.com/YK72BU4AsS

Ovechkin looks eager to show off his new dad skills. And…. oh no! He drops the doll!
I’m sure he is very careful with his actual baby. Doll baby? A little bit less so.
Other Capitals dads took part, including Lars Eller, Nicklas Backstrom, John Carlson, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and TJ Oshie.
