Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin is sponsored by Nike and has frequently worn shoes, sweats, and other lifestyle gear from the company over the last decade. But on the ice, Ovechkin wears Nike gear too. Underneath his jersey, Ovechkin sports a dry-fit undershirt that includes a custom logo that Nike designed for The Great 8.
Since the Capitals won the Stanley Cup in June, Nike has brought back to market shirts featuring that slick Ovechkin logo. Dick’s Sporting Goods and Fanatics have sold two styles of the tee. On Saturday, we learned that the Gardens Ice House in Laurel, Maryland, has four different styles fans can buy.
The Ovechkin Nike gear has not been available since the 2013 Caps Convention.
The styles include two different designs on both red and black shirts.
The below Alex Ovechkin logo dry-fit shirts with his Ovi’s name on it are $30.99.
The MVP designs are normal t-shirts and are being sold for $24.99.
