Alex Ovechkin is picking up where he left off last season. Ovechkin scored 64 goals in 106 total games last year. Now he just finished the 2018 preseason with four goals in four games.
Ovechkin’s latest tally came in the Capitals’ 5-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues, Sunday.

The Russian machine picked off a muffed pass by defenseman Vince Dunn and one-timed the turnover into the back of the net.
The puck went in and out of the net in a hurry – even in slo-mo.
Ovechkin and Evgeny Kuznetsov shared a wry smile and a laugh while celebrating.
Despite losing Tom Wilson to an ejection, Ovechkin was in a splendid mood and gave a Caps fan his game-used stick as he walked down the tunnel.
Ovechkin looks ready to go, you guys. This season should be fun.
