The Washington Capitals’ Stanley Cup championship in June was a dream come true for many fans across the area.
Over 500,000 people reportedly turned out for the city’s Stanley Cup parade at The Mall to celebrate with the team. Since then, ridiculously happy Caps fans have sold out stores of championship gear, tattooed their body with Caps art, and created a lot of of clever license plates.
In fact, on Monday night, I asked readers on Twitter for their best Caps championship vanity plates.
You guys did not disappoint.
My mom wanted a Caps plate after the Cup, so I came up with this one for her! Couldn't believe it hadn't already been snagged! pic.twitter.com/2UhsiwhT0G
