Andre Burakovsky has transformed into Andre Swoleakovsky this summer

Capitals forward Andre Burakovsky is going into the final year of a bridge deal that pays him $3 million per season.

After suffering through multiple arm injuries that forced him to miss half the year, the Burracuda is looking to bounce back big time from his most disappointing season as a pro.

To do so, Burakovsky needs to be in the best shape of his life both mentally and physically. Judging from this photo via trainer Jonas Morin, the Capitals winger has certainly made the most of his summer.

Yes, #curlsforthegirls.

Let’s zoom in to get another look at this Swedish swole-ness.

During the playoffs, Burakovsky also mentioned that he was planning to speak to a sports psychologist over the offseason to get past some mental hurdles.

According to Morin’s Instagram account, Burakovsky began training for next season less than two weeks after the Capitals won the Stanley Cup.

I’m going to go ahead and predict now that Burakovsky’s going to have a huge year if he can stay healthy.
