Philipp Grubauer‘s day with the Stanley Cup is quickly approaching. The German goaltender will be spending August 13 in his hometown of Rosenheim, Germany, but wants to share the Cup with as many people as possible.
Grubauer will be offering a photo opportunity with him and the Stanley Cup during his day.
Sharing a photo on Instagram, Gruabuer wrote: “People it is time! Join us and celebrate with us! Unique opportunity to take a photo with the Stanley Cup, I’m looking forward to seeing you!”
The Cup will be present for photos at the Summer Festival in Rosenheim at 3 PM local time. The Summer Festival is an outdoor venue in Rosenheim that hosts concerts throughout the month of July. The full address is: RathausstraĂźe 25, 83022 Rosenheim, Germany.
Grubauer has used the help of his former team, the Starbulls Rosenheim, to plan his event. He played for the Starbulls from 2004-2008, representing all levels of the organization, before leaving for the OHL and the Belleville Bulls.
