Though he was traded to the Colorado Avalanche and subsequently bought-out of his current contract, Brooks Orpik is still hanging out in the DC area with his former teammates.
On Thursday, Orpik and John Carlson spent the steamy day at the Quicken Loans National Golf Tournament.
The Quicken Loans National twitter account tweeted some photos of the two at the course.

The Quicken Loans National is a professional golf tournament part of the famed PGA Tour. It is usually held around the Fourth of July weekend at the TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm course. Tiger Woods is participating in the QL National this year, though as of Thursday evening he was tied for 48th place with 20 other golfers.
